Nouvelle installation d'art
l'Union des Peuples
Inspiré par la guerre en Ukraine, qui semble lointaine mais envoie des vagues de choc et de profonde détresse qui s'étendent jusqu'en Afrique
Ici, les poteaux en bois représentent des têtes, qui peuvent être considérées comme des pays ou des dirigeants. Beaucoup essaient de se tenir debout et droits, mais certains tombent
Le bleu représente l'eau, qui peut à la fois adoucir, laver et fournir de la flottabilité et une voie d'évacuation pour les personnes en détresse
Les lianes représentent l'attachement les uns envers les autres des peuples, de leurs dirigeants et des nations. Mais aussi un piège, des personnes piégées dans des situations impossibles qui ne sont pas de leur fait ou de leur choix.
Une liane ne peut pas évoluer sans support, elle a besoin d'un tuteur ou d'un arbre pour évoluer.
C'est pourquoi nous avons créé cette œuvre d'art, comme un cri de soutien, pour les personnes décédées, les communautés brisées, les nations en ruine.
La violence n'est jamais une solution.

Inspired by the war in Ukraine, which seems far but sends waves of shock and heartfelt distress which extend all the way to Africa
Here the wooden poles represent heads, that can be seen as countries, or leaders. Many try to stand tall and straight, but some falling
The blue represents water, which can both soften, wash away and provide buoyancy and an escape route for people in distress
The lianas represent attachment towards each other by people, their leaders and nations. But also a trap, people trapped in impossible situations that are not of their making or choosing.
A liana cannot evolve without support, it needs a tutor or a tree to evolve.
That's why we created this artwork, as a cry for support, for fallen people, broken communities, crumbling nations.
Violence is never a solution.
